1. Who We Are
TripSignal ("we", "us", "our") is a travel intelligence platform that monitors real-time health, security, and disaster events to provide actionable alerts for travelers and travel businesses. Contact us at hi@tripsignal.ai for any privacy-related questions.
2. Information We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your user type (traveler, travel professional, or business). We do not collect payment information, precise location data, or any sensitive personal information at this stage.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your email address to: (a) send you early access invitations when TripSignal launches; (b) send occasional intelligence briefings you have opted into; (c) communicate product updates relevant to your stated user type. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely via Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or the service launches and you either activate or opt out.
5. Email Communications
All transactional and marketing emails are sent via Resend. You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time by contacting hi@tripsignal.ai with the subject line "Unsubscribe." We will process your request within 10 business days.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@tripsignal.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage patterns on our marketing site. This uses cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8. Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database), Resend (email), Google Analytics (analytics), Vercel (hosting). Each service operates under its own privacy policy and data processing agreement.
9. Children
TripSignal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact hi@tripsignal.ai and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify waitlist members of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
